Where’s the cafeteria?

The Academy doesn’t actually have a cafeteria. With nowhere to buy food, students are expected to bring a lunch from home each day. They may then heat up their lunches in microwaves and eat them in the Commons Area (the large open area in the center of the school).

As upperclassmen, Academy students are allowed to sign out of the building and walk to the Middlesex County College Cafeteria to purchase food. Unfortunately, underclassmen are not granted such a privilege.

Additionally, many student groups take advantage of lunch as a time to host food based fundraisers. On many days, Academy clubs are found selling pizza, hosting Italian lunches, or holding bake sales.
